The Course

About this course

GitHub isn't just for engineers. The most effective PMs — especially in technical environments — live in GitHub: reviewing PRs at a high level, managing project boards, triaging issues, and coordinating releases.

This course teaches you to use GitHub the way a PM should: without writing code, but with enough fluency to collaborate confidently with your engineering team. You'll learn to triage issues, use GitHub Projects as a lightweight PM tool, and understand what's in a release.

You'll finish with a GitHub repository you managed through a full simulated release cycle — a powerful portfolio signal that shows technical hiring managers you can bridge products and engineering.
